Pianist Alexander Vorontsov to Perform with Cellist Annabel Hauk at Gräfelfing Concert

The participant of Classic Piano 2024 Alexander Vorontsov will perform alongside cellist Annabel Hauk in a concert at Gräfelfing on March 14th, featuring works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, and Franck. Vorontsov, an internationally acclaimed prizewinner, brings his expressive artistry and technical mastery to the stage.

Aspiring pianist Alexander Vorontsov, the participant of Classic Piano 2024, will take the stage alongside cellist Annabel Hauk in a captivating concert on Friday, March 14th, hosted by the Musikförderverein Gräfelfing. The performance will begin at 7:30 PM in the auditorium of Kurt-Huber-Gymnasium (Adalbert-Stifter-Platz 2), featuring a program of works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Robert Schumann, and César Franck.

Vorontsov, a distinguished international prizewinner, began his musical journey at the age of eleven when he began studying at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover. His education continued with Prof. Matti Raellio and culminated in lessons with the renowned Lars Vogt, who mentored him until his untimely passing. Alongside his thriving solo career, Vorontsov is known for collaborating on a variety of projects with actors and dancers, blending classical music with other art forms.

His musical partner for this concert is Annabel Hauk, a promising young cellist recognized for her exceptional talent. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the New England Conservatory in Boston and is currently pursuing her Master's at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under the tutelage of Prof. Giovanni Gnoggi. In addition to her education, the talented cellist performs recitals and orchestral concerts across Europe and the United States.
