Held at the SOAI University’s Nanko Hall, this performance marked another high point in Krzyżowski’s already illustrious career, as he continues to captivate audiences around the world with his technical brilliance and deep musical expression.

A graduate of the prestigious Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he currently serves as an assistant in the Piano Department, Krzyżowski is not only a dedicated performer but also a passionate educator. His commitment to the art of piano performance and teaching has earned him numerous accolades, including victories at renowned competitions such as the I.J. He also took home the 1st prize at the Fryderyk Chopin National Piano Competition and represented Poland in the semi-finals of the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition.

At the Osaka concert, Krzyżowski joined forces with the Chopin University Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Monika Wolińska, to present a program that celebrated both the romantic and nationalistic spirit of Polish music. The concert featured two major works:

Józef Hofmann’s "Polonez Amerykański" (American Polonaise), skillfully arranged for orchestra by Józef Domżał. This piece, infused with a sense of grandeur, exemplifies Hofmann's talent for blending virtuosic piano techniques with orchestral color, evoking the vast, sweeping landscapes of both Poland and America.
Mazurki by Hofmann, which resonate with the stylistic influence of Chopin’s mazurkas. These pieces are rich in folk-like rhythms and melodies, creating an intricate yet accessible portrait of Polish musical traditions.
The centerpiece of the performance was Fryderyk Chopin’s Piano Concerto in F minor, Op. 21, a work that showcases the composer’s mastery of both piano and orchestral writing. The concert concluded with Chopin’s "Andante Spianato and Grand Polonaise in E-flat major, Op. 22," a dazzling display of virtuosity and elegance, further cementing Krzyżowski’s reputation as a pianist capable of bringing Chopin’s works to life with emotional intensity and precision.

This performance was a testament to Krzyżowski’s growing international recognition. Regularly performing in Poland and abroad, he has also released three critically acclaimed albums of chamber music, further expanding his artistic footprint.
