On January 31, 2025, Anastasiia Kliuchereva, finalist of the Classic Piano 2024 competition, graced the stage at Hotel Klosterhof in Bayerisch Gmain as part of the "New Moon. New Faces" concert series. Alongside the talented violinist Laura Katherina Handler, she delivered an unforgettable performance, showcasing a diverse repertoire that spanned from the Classical and Romantic periods to more dynamic works from other musical eras.

The highly anticipated concert captivated the audience with the virtuosity of two rising stars. Violinist Laura Katherina Handler, a student of renowned institutions such as the Zakhar Bron Academy and the University Mozarteum Salzburg, has already earned a stellar reputation, with accolades including the “Paul Roczek Award” (2022) and a special prize at the 20th International Khachaturian Competition (2024).

Anastasiia Kliuchereva, a graduate of the Central Music School of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, is currently furthering her studies with Professor Pavel Gililov at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. She has garnered prestigious international awards, such as the Special Prize at the Vienna International Competition (2024) and the Dubai-based “Classic Piano” competition (2024), where she was awarded a full scholarship to attend the 2024 Oxford Piano Festival and Summer Academy, granted by Mro. Marios Papadopoulos.

The concert's program featured a rich blend of works that showcased the performers’ versatility. Highlights included a Minuet by Duport, Mozart’s K.573, Chopin’s Sonata No. 2 in B-flat Minor, Op. 35 (1st movement), excerpts from Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto in D Minor, and the "Méditation" from Massenet’s opera Thaïs.

This carefully curated selection offered a vibrant fusion of musical styles and emotions, with Mozart’s refined elegance, Chopin’s passionate intensity, Khachaturian’s emotional depth, and Massenet’s lyrical beauty.

Beyond the exquisite musical experience, the evening was also a celebration of social responsibility. All proceeds from the concert went toward charitable initiatives supported by the Rotary Club Salzburg International, creating a powerful synergy between artistry and philanthropy.
