The “Classic Piano” Malta International Piano Competition will take place from 20 April to 9 May 2021, with the awards ceremony taking place on 10 May.

The event will comprise four rounds, the first two of which will be solo rounds held at the recently refurbished Aula Magna Hall, an auditorium on the University of Malta Valletta Campus, with the third and fourth rounds taking place at the Catholic Institute, Floriana, with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.

The competition is open to applicants of any nationality and the event will be open to the public.

Please note that it is not possible to apply directly for the competition in Malta, and that in order to qualify for this final stage each applicant should have achieved a ranking position (top five) in their preceding national competition as part of the ““14 Ways to Malta” International Piano Competition.

By taking part in the “Classic Piano” Malta International Piano Competition, participants consent to audio/video recordings taking place at the discretion of the organisers.
